We have renewed our commitment to environmental preservation and conservation. We are making improvements in our business and personal lives to help make a small difference. We are becoming more educated about recycling and how to maximize it: King County Recycling Information. We are purchasing alternative fuel through PSE as 100% Leadership Partners of their Green Power Program. We are making sure our office exceeds government expectations for mercury and other contaminant disposal by acquiring a 5 Star Status from Envirostars.  Through all of these steps we are becoming a new and improved, green friendly dentist in Washington.

It is our goal to serve as positive inspiration for others to make small changes in their lives to help improve their own health, by improving the health of the planet which supports us all.

Our Children

When we think of our children, we think of hope. We hope that they will be blessed with goodness. We hope that they will be compassionate, caring, and thoughtful. These and numerous other reasons are why we as parents nurture them with love, respect, and a sense of ownership as Earth's stewards. So when our actions show love, compassion, caring, thoughtfulness and respect for fellow man and nature, we embody our own hope and become the blessings we wish upon our children. These are the ideals we live and work by as an eco friendly dentist Washington will always be able to embrace. It may not change the Earth, but maybe it'll make it just a little bit more beautiful. Giving Back

Dr. Dowd, Dr. Wu and the wonderful team at Signature Smiles believe in the goodness of giving back. In the past two years, the Signature Smiles Team has donated over $30,000 in services to the underserved population of Woodinville through private and public organizations such as the Disabled Dental Services Program.

Donations

Dr. Dowd and Dr. Wu have donated to numerous funds that support cancer research, The AMERICAN RED CROSS, environmental preservation, education, as well as local school oral health programs. Their next adventure is to donate more of their time and expertise to international dental relief organizations and to continue to serve as a model of what a green friendly dentist in Washington can be.
